I’m 30s, oily skin. I tried some popular sunscreens like Beauty of Joseon and Round Lab and they just didn’t work for me. Too shiny and oily. Melixir feels like there’s nothing there. It makes my skin feel like just regular skin—no greasy layer and no extra shine. I even let my sister use some, who is also in her 30s and has acne. She loved it and it didn’t break her out. Although it’s a bit more expensive option than other sunscreens, give it a try! I’m very particular on my sunscreen and I was giving up hope that I’d find something suitable for my skin, but this sunscreen renewed my hope! Please don’t stop selling it!!!
Scent: light citrus, which goes away quickly, and I find pleasant. It does not smell like sunscreen.
Eyes: doesn’t sting. (Yay!!)
White cast: I am Caucasian and don’t notice any cast at all, however I can’t speak for anyone with a darker skin tone.
Con: like many other sunscreens I’ve used, it pills after a few reapplications when I’m outside for an extended time. However, I haven’t noticed any pilling after the first application. (I don’t wear makeup, so I can’t speak to how this would work with that.)
