Softening but the scent is not perfect

My skin feels soft after using and I like the list of ingredients. I love rose scents so that is primarily why I bought this. However the rose fragrance is very quickly overtaken by an unpleasant chemical smell when I start applying it. That smell does disappear after application and is replaced again by a faint rose smell on the skin, but that momentary unpleasant smell is disappointing. I will keep using it and see if I get used to it because the product is otherwise nice
