Solid Option

I really like this cushion! I went for the shade 25 sand and it was close enough but still a little too light for me and I’m like the lightest of tan. As for how matte it is, I actually think it depends on how you prep your skin before applying. I usually wear a somewhat glowy sunscreen underneath foundation and no primer so it was more of a natural finish than matte but I didn’t mind it. Compared to the other Rom&nd cushion though this one is not as long lasting on me but it could probably be because I have oily skin so it breaks down the foundation quicker. Overall I really like this cushion and would recommend if they have your shade, I will definitely get a refill once i run out.

Remains my go-to, but with some caveats

I had to take it down one star because the shade range is pretty poor. I am east asian with relatively light skin, and the darkest shade available is my winter shade. And it's perfect for my winter shade, but once I have any tan, it's way too light for me, even in my under eye area. That said, I tend to not wear much base makeup in summer because once I get a tan, my complexion evens out a lot. But I really wish they'd expand the shade range because it's just not inclusive as it is right now.
