I keep this in my rotation as a must have. I have very dry skin from Trenotin and I use this as a bottom and top layer over my Trenotin and snail mucin. Also use it in the daytime, over my vitamin C, and it sinks in and doesn't pill under my makeup. It's very moisturizing and just perfect for my skin. It isn't a very heavy cream, but it does "seal" my skin, if that makes sense. But if you're looking for a thick lotion, this isn't it, but it is soothing and moisturizing. It also helps the back of my hands which break out from eczema, I put in on first when they are red and hurting, and it soothes my skin and then layer over with sur.medic+ hand cream and it's the perfect solution.
This is great as a daily moisturizer! I don't think it's thick enough as a nighttime moisturizer for my dry skin, but it's perfect for daytime and sits well under makeup. I've had no pilling or breakouts from this, and the size of the tube is great for travel.
I used this as my first really intense moisturizer and I loved it but upon buying other barrier repairing moisturizer, I found this one to be my third or fourth favorite. There are just better moisturizers than this one if you’re looking for a thick heavy repairing moisturizer. I recommend the illiyoon ceramide cream or the la rosche posay cicaplast balm. They just work better for the outcome of what this cream is supposed to achieve. But this is still a good heavier, every day moisturizer compared to the other ones.
This barrier cream is the single most important step in my winter skincare routine. I have Rosacea, and my winter skin is extra dry, tight, and irritated. Until I added this light, cool barrier cream 2x/day, I couldn’t maintain adequate moisture or maintain my skin barrier. I was blown away when this worked after nothing else did. Without significant marketing or over the top packaging, this is still one of only two products that’s I’d say has actually made a positive impact on my life - no more tight, painful skin - and exceeded my expectations (the other is K18).
This is my favorite moisturizer! I will always buy this! They changed the packaging (I liked the old packaging with a lock like cap to prevent loss of product) the previous packaging was genius!! They need to bring it back!!!
